Family Day Skate

Looks like the long-term forecast is in our favour for a Family Day Skate. Hopefully this cold weather won’t last much longer and we will be able to enjoy our rink.

Join us from 1:00 – 4:00 for skating, free hot chocolate and s’mores. In our rink building, we will be hosting a Jersey & Memorabilia Sale. If you have ever participated in sports through Beverly Heights, you might be interested in seeing some of the old photos and trophies. Prices will be reasonable! We are trying to clean out space in the rink building.

A huge thank you to Sport Central, who donated skates to our community. We now have a selection of skates to offer as free rentals. If you have any gently-used skates and/or helmets, please consider donating them to our community.

Delicious and Delightful!

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday, January 12 for the Taste of Romania. It was the first of our new supper series and we were so pleased that tickets sold out for our inaugural event!

We were fed a variety of Romanian delicacies, thanks to N&C Catering. Alongside our food was the option for some Romanian wine. We listened to Romanian music and enjoyed the evening with our neighbours and friends.

Thank you to the members of our community who spoke to us about Romanian culture, history, and food.

Are you interested in our next event? We will start selling tickets for the Taste of Greece on February 20. Please continue to check our website for more information regarding this and other events.

Taste of Greece will happen on April 13; doors open at 5:00 pm, supper at 6:00 pm. Again, the menu will feature all food from Greece, alongside a brief presentation of culture and history.

  • Just a sampling of the delicious desserts.
