Our Gardening Group Runs Year-round
The Beverly Heights Garden Group is a collection of garden enthusiasts who get together once per month to share blooming tales of green glory. In addition to socializing, the group enjoys visits from gardening experts and goes on field trips to places like the Muttart Conservatory, Lady Flower Gardens, and the Edmonton Urban Farm.
The Garden Group also takes a lead in managing the community's participation in Our Neighbourhood in Bloom. We collect address submissions and hand out signs to recognized yards. We've met so many interesting people and seen so many fascinating spaces as a result.
Many of our members also take care of the shrub beds in Floden Park. If you're interested in joining us, please register with Partners in Parks so that you can have access to free gardening supplies and WCB coverage in case of injury.
Starting in October of 2025, we will be charging a $30 yearly club fee for our Gardening Group. This will go towards entry fees when we go on field trips, honorariums when we have speakers come in, and plants to fill our Hall's outside pots in the spring.
Join us the first Wednesday of every month at 7PM at the Beverly Heights Family Centre.
